Deep Roots Art Challenge

The rules are simple~
The theme of this challenge is Deep Roots. What do you envision when thinking of 'deep roots', what spiritual perspectives come to mind? Maybe you have a personal story about roots and you just know how to turn that into an artistic creation.

Artists, you are challenged to handcraft a new item that is an expression and reflection of the challenge theme of Deep Roots. 

Create your item and enter by the due date of April 24, 2016.

Items entered will be featured on the Spirit Tree Blog and two artists will be chosen as 'winners'. 

Winner one will be determined by a public will vote. Voting will run from April 26 to May 4, 2016. Please share when the time comes.

The Spirit Tree artisans will choose their own favorite as the second winner.

The winning artists will be invited to sell in one of The Spirit Tree’s events.

Introducing The Spirit Tree Art Challenge

The Spirit Tree has begun to host a monthly ‘art challenge’. Spirit Tree art challenges are open to all artists. 

The rules are simple~
Every challenge will have a theme. The theme will be the inspiration for the challenge. Artist are challenged to handcraft a new item that is an expression and reflection of the challenge theme.
Items are to be completed and entered by the due date. 
Items entered will be featured on the Spirit Tree Blog and put up to a vote for the people's favorite.
The public will vote for their favorite and the Spirit Tree artisans will choose their own favorite.
The winning artists will be invited to sell in one of The Spirit Tree’s events.

The Spirit Tree’s Art Challenge - Spark of Life

What does the ‘Spark of Life’ stir within you? Create a piece that is your expression of what the Spark of Life is or how it is reflected in the world. 

Entries must be submitted by March 25, 2016. Send quality photo with a description of your process and how the 'spark of life' inspired your piece.
Public Vote will run from March 28, 2016 to April 10, 2016. Winners announced on April 11, 2016
